OUR HISTORY
We serve quality
The company “KREATA HATZIAGOROU A.E.B.E.K.” is one of the largest meat trading and processing companies in Greece. Its founder, Antonios Hatziagorou, started working in the meat market from a young age, following his dreams of creating a state-of-the-art meat processing unit with very personal work. In 1999, based in Krithia, Thessaloniki prefecture, he built the company’s headquarters, a 2,500 square meter building.
The company's goal from the very beginning of its establishment has been the correct selection of raw materials and the production of high-quality meat products, under the strictest safety standards, so that the consumer can enjoy a wide variety of meat products of top taste and quality,
Since 2003, the company has developed a modern and constantly growing export network, opening new avenues and new markets for the Greek economy. It exports its products to many European countries, such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden, while actively participating in international exhibitions.
The company pays special attention to the demands and trends of the Greek market and tries to assimilate and apply them by combining them with traditional techniques and flavors. For this reason, it has also included in its catalog premium products of special cuts of meat that are increasingly gaining the attention of Greek consumers and traders.
The state-of-the-art industrial facilities and slaughtering and meat processing methods meet all international hygiene standards and are certified according to the international safety standard FCCS 22000. The product "Greek lamb souvlaki" has been awarded the gold award at MEAT GRILL DAYS 2018 and the "black angus meatball" with a silver award.

Today the company employs 40 families, has a wide distribution network and supplies directly and efficiently butchers, supermarkets, hotels, catering units and catering establishments (restaurants, taverns, grills, etc.).
Since 2010, the second generation of Hatziagorou, Aristidis Hatziagorou, Fragoula Hatziagorou and Aristea Hatziagorou has taken an active role in the business, while in 2015 it took a new major business step by opening its own retail stores, creating the first supermarket store of Greek meat and Greek traditional meat products, edible products and beverages with a remarkable appeal to the consumer public of Thessaloniki.

In the Hatziagorou family, we support the Greek livestock farmer, who has been particularly affected in our days. We give special importance primarily to these people, sharing their problems and needs.
For this reason, we have created stable and strong partnerships with family farms in Northern Greece over the years.
The Greek economy needs to keep its productive primary sector up with strength of mind in these difficult days that we are all experiencing. This has the direct effect of making it imperative for everyone, traders and consumers, to understand the difficulties that the Greek producer and, basically, the Greek farmer is facing.
The unpredictable weather conditions, the financial difficulties from the unbearable tax burdens, the hardships that the Greek livestock profession naturally entails have led to the impoverishment of this sector.
Greek livestock farmers are asking for our support, not pity or exploitation.
